Cupper Scrap

Copper scrap is any piece of copper that is no longer being used for its original purpose, such as electrical wiring, plumbing pipes, old coins, or jewelry. It can be recycled and reused without losing its quality, and is often used in construction, motors, industrial machinery, and electronics.

Copper scrap comes in different grades, and its price depends on the percentage of copper it contains. The most valuable grade is bare bright copper, which is uncoated and unalloyed copper that has been stripped of insulation, paint, and other impurities. Another desirable grade is #1 copper, which has a minimum copper content of at least 98% and is free of fittings, insulation, paint, solder, and other materials.
